Day 05 / Jaipur

Amber Fort Palace – Amber is the classic romantic poetry in red sandstone. The magnanimous fort palace construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I.

City Palace – A beautiful amalgam of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace is one of the most loved masterpieces sprawling over oneseventh of the area in the walled city. It is home to Shri Govind Dev Temple, Chandra Mahal, and the City Palace Museum.

Jantar Mantar  – The largest and the best preserved of the five observatories masterpieced by Jai Singh II. It is home to outsized astronomical instruments still in use!

Hawa Mahal – The ornamental “Palace of Winds” makes for a prominent landmark in the Pink City, Jaipur. The dizzying fivestorey structures constructed of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with very fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. 953 niches and windows are incredibly woven into the palace built in 1799 by Pratap Singh. It marks the royal grandstand for the palace women.

Day 06 / Jaipur Delhi ( By road ) Pathankot ( By overnight train in airconditioned sleeper class )

Day 07 / Pathankot Dharamshala ( By road ) Approx. 2 hrs. drive

Morning on arrival at Pathankot railway station meet assist and transfer to Dharamshala. Later in the afternoon visit sightseeing of Dharamshala covering the Official residence of Dalai Lama the exiled Tibetan Leader, McLeodganj, Palampur. Night stay in Dharamshala.

Day 09 / Dharamshala Amritsar ( By road )

Day 10 / Amritsar

– Early morning visit to the iconic Golden Temple It is the most sacred religious site for Sikhs. A symbol of the magnificence and invincible strength of the Sikhs across the globe, the evolution of Darbar Sahib is celebrated here. Being here allows one to witness the history and ideology of Sikhism in and out. The beauty of this temple also lies in its splendid architecture including sacred symbols associated with worship. Apart from religious value, Golden Temple also serves as an impeccable example of the spirit of tolerance and acceptance Sikh philosophy propounds.

– A visit to Jallianwala Bagh A Memmorial built in the shape of eternal flame of liberty. It was built in the memory of Martyrs who sacrificed their life in the freedom struggle. The memorial is situated on the outskirts of Golden Temple. On 13 April 1919, around 1500 and 2000 persons were attending a peaceful meeting during the freedom movement (armless). Soon they fell under the bullets of the British General Dyer in the city of Amritsar.

Day 11 / Amritsar Delhi ( By fast airconditioned train )

  • Morning transfer to Amritsar railway station.
  • Board the fast airconditioned train to Delhi.
  • Arrival in Delhi.
