Amber Fort Palace – Amber is the classic romantic poetry in red sandstone. The magnanimous fort palace construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I.

City Palace – It serves as the main palace and the seat of the government. The construction of the City Palace complex started in 1732. The work continued through late 19th century. Many changes were made and new structures were added to the complex. In 1890, one of the last structures, Mubarak Mahal was added to the complex. Royal weddings, royal birthdays, religious festivals, and coronations would held in City Palace. This exquisite palace has become the hot spot for several Hindi movie shooting and American movies.

Jantar Mantar – A set of 14 colossal astronomical observatory instruments, Jantar Mantar is located in the heart of Pink City, Jaipur. Maharaja Jai Singh II constructed these unbelievably accurate devices. The king believed in alignment to date, star and other celestial movements as critical elements in predicting his fate and fortunes especially while planning wars and other important scheming. With these charts, he determined the best time for major events such as parties, meetings, wars, and weddings.

Hawa Mahal – This breathtaking structure was constructed by Rajput Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799. Using red and pink sandstone, the construction of Hawa Mahal promises a beautiful blend of Mughal and Rajasthani architecture style. The artistic carvings and distinct shape of Hawa Mahal was the brainchild of architect Lal Chand Ustad. The façade of Hawa Mahal is similar to a honeycomb. It houses 953 ‘jharokas’ or small windows, all of them carved out exquisitely in a traditional Marwari design. Intricate latticework is used to cover the windows. The palace was designed for royal women and queens to enjoy the sight of city life from behind these jharokas. They remained unseen from outside.
