Day 02 / Delhi

Day 04 / Jaipur

  • A relaxed breakfast.
  • Proceed for a morning excursion to Amber Fort.
  • Elephant ride ascent to the fort.

Amber Fort Palace – A romantic poetry in red sandstone, the construction of this magnanimous fort palace was construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592. Later on, his descendent Jai Singh I completed the construction.

City Palace – A beautiful amalgam of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace is one of the most loved masterpieces sprawling over oneseventh of the area in the walled city. It is home to Shri Govind Dev Temple, Chandra Mahal, and the City Palace Museum.

Jantar Mantar –  The largest and the best preserved of the five observatories masterpieced by Jai Singh II. It is home to outsized astronomical instruments still in use!

Hawa Mahal –  The ornamental “Palace of Winds” makes for a prominent landmark in the Pink City, Jaipur. The dizzying fivestorey structures constructed of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with very fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. 953 niches and windows are incredibly woven into the palace built in 1799 by Pratap Singh. It marks the royal grandstand for the palace women.

Day 05 / Jaipur Trivendrum ( Via Mumbai )

  • Transfer to airport to board the flight for Trivendrum via Mumbai.
  • Arrival in Trivandrum.
  • Meeting with assist at the airport.
  • Transfer to hotel at Kovalam (Trivandrum Kovalam approx. 16 kms.).

Kovalam –  An internationally renowned beach of Kerala lined with crescent beaches, Kovalam has always been a hot favorite among tourists across the globe since the 1930s. The calm soothing waters are ideal for sea bathing. The gigantic rocky promontory on the beach offers a soothing environment. Day 06 / Kovalam

  • Padmanabha Swami Temple – This is the only temple in Kerala that allows foreign nationals near the Sanctum Sanctorum. Revered for its eyecatching mural paintings and stone carvings, this temple is an incredible amalgam of Dravidian and Kerala architecture styles.
  • Kuthiramalika – Grand palace of the erstwhile Composer King of Travancore. This exquisite building displays very rare specimen of impeccable craftsmanship in the traditional Travancore style of architecture. The splendid woodcarvings will mesmerise you (closed on all Mondays).
  • Napier Museum – Home to a rare collection of archaeological and historic artifacts, ancient ornaments, bronze idols, a temple chariot and ivory carvings, this amazing museum is a must visit (closed on all Sundays & Wednesdays).
  • Shree Chitra Art Gallery – The elaborate art gallery displays the best of masterpieces by revered Raja Ravi Varma, Nicholas Roerich, and Svetlava. It also houses some of the most exclusive works from the schools of art across India including Mughal, Rajput, and Tanjore schools of art in India. Day 09 / Kumarakom Cochin

1. Chinese Fishing Nets Erected between 1350 and 1450 AD by Court of Kubla Khan (a Chinese King) traders. The unique style of gigantic cantilevered fishing nets are worth a dekko.

2. A visit to The Hill Palace Museum. This is an archeological museum and first ever Heritage Museum of the state.

3. A visit to Santa Cruz Basilica. This historic church was built by the Portuguese. Pope Paul IV elevated the church to a Cathedral in the year 1558. Pope John Paul II proclaimed the Church a Basilica in 1984.

4. The Jewish Synagogue – The building was constructed in the year 1568. The oldest Synagogue in the Commonwealth.

Closed on: Saturdays and Jewish Holidays.

5. Mattanchery Palace – Also known as the Dutch Palace, this beautiful structure was constructed in the year 1557 by the Portuguese. It was a present by Portuguese to the Regent of Kochi.
